OUTREACH SERVICES

What Is It?

Our Outreach Services meet people where they are — in shelters, encampments, transitional housing, or on the streets. We provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed support and build bridges to housing, harm reduction, recovery, and wellness.

All outreach services are peer-led and free of charge.

Who We Serve Through Outreach

At Peer2Peer Recovery, our outreach is about showing up — with compassion, cultural understanding, and lived experience. We connect with people in real-life moments of need, offering support without judgment. Here are some of the individuals and communities we reach through our work:

  • People in active use or early recovery
  • Individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Those exiting incarceration or treatment
  • East African, immigrant, and underserved communities
  • Anyone disconnected from support and seeking connection

How We Measure Our Impact

At Peer2Peer Recovery, impact isn’t just numbers — it’s about trust built, lives touched, and hope renewed. We track our work not to check boxes, but to ensure we’re showing up where it counts. Here’s how we stay accountable to our mission and the communities we serve:

  • Outreach encounters
  • Harm reduction and hygiene supplies distributed
  • Referrals made to housing, treatment, or support services
  • Client feedback and community engagement

We believe every connection matters — and we follow up when possible so no one is left behind.

Peer-Led. Community-Rooted.

All Outreach Services are delivered by trained Certified Peer Recovery Specialists — people with lived experience in addiction, survival, and recovery. Our team offers nonjudgmental, trauma-informed care grounded in trust, cultural humility, and real-world understanding.
