What We Stand For
Mission
Our mission is to provide culturally grounded, peer-led recovery support and outreach to individuals impacted by addiction, trauma, homelessness, and systemic barriers — with a focus on Minnesota’s East African and immigrant populations.
We believe in harm reduction, all pathways to recovery, and the power of community connection.
Our Core Values:
- Lived Experience = Leadership
- Recovery Is a Right
- We Meet People Where They Are
- Cultural Healing Matters
- Everyone Deserves a Second (or Fifth) Chance
Vision Statement
Our vision is a community where every individual has access to culturally responsive recovery support, harm reduction resources, and opportunities for healing — without stigma, barriers, or discrimination.
Support for All Pathways to Recovery
At Peer2Peer Recovery, we honor and support all pathways to recovery, including harm reduction, abstinence-based models, medication-supported recovery, faith-based recovery, and more. We believe recovery is personal, and every journey deserves respect and support.
