RECOVERY IS A RIGHT
Recovery is a Right — Not a Privilege.
The fight for recovery support is a fight for health, equity, and dignity. At Peer2Peer Recovery, we believe every person deserves access to culturally grounded care, housing, harm reduction, and the power of peer support — regardless of their background, status, or stage in recovery.
This initiative amplifies the lived experiences of Minnesota’s East African, immigrant, and underserved communities — voices too often ignored in mainstream recovery spaces. Through our podcast, social media, and storytelling efforts, we are pushing back against stigma and lifting up real stories of struggle, survival, and strength.
Recovery is not linear, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. But when we listen, when we lead with lived experience, and when systems are reimagined to include everyone — recovery becomes not just possible, but powerful. This program brings that vision to life, both online and on the ground.
